About
I am a communications consultant with 12 years’ experience in the social change sector. I believe in taking a stand, speaking up and doing what is right; although not always successfully. I love clarity – of thought, in writing and in design.
Returning to South Africa after six years at The Prince’s Trust in London has been quite a journey, rediscovering my country and the complex issues it faces. I’ve done work for some very special non profits that have renewed my sense of optimism about South Africa’s future. And also helped me understand the complexity of people’s struggles. My time as head of strategic communications at GreaterGood SouthAfrica has taught me about understanding impact – the kind that changes lives – and about bringing together the corporate and non profit world to find new solutions to our problems.
I’m married to an architect who is a minimalist by inclination but not by nature. And I’m the mother of two young children who don’t know what minimalist means.
So I may love clarity but I don’t see much of it in my daily life.
